Overview

GS-MAX-1030-NAI is a rugged gamma spectrometer combining a 26 × 76 mm encapsulated NaI(Tl) scintillation crystal, rugged Hamamatsu photomultiplier tube and integrated digital multichannel analyzer. It supports count rates up to approximately 100,000 counts per second.

The detector and electronics are enclosed in a machined titanium housing with O-ring seals and a water-resistant connector. An internal temperature sensor compensates for temperature-related drift. The specified operating temperature range is −20 to +60 °C.

Its USB-C interface sends spectrum data to a computer or compatible Android device over a USB UART serial connection. Compatible software includes Becqmoni for Windows, ImpulseQt for Windows and Mac, and Atom-Spectra for Android. Available software tools include background subtraction, isotope libraries and GPS mapping; features depend on the selected software.

The package includes the spectrometer, USB-C to USB-C cable, instrument case and manual. Contact Nucleolenz to confirm software compatibility and suitability for your installation conditions.
