ATOM-1010-CEBR

ATOM-1010-CEBR is an integrated USB gamma spectrometer with a 25.4 × 25.4 mm cerium bromide (CeBr₃) scintillation crystal and a fast photomultiplier tube (PMT) counting circuit. The supplier describes resolution below 4.5%; the measurement energy is not specified on the product page.

The handheld unit sends spectrum data to a computer or compatible Android device through a USB UART serial connection. Its 8192-channel analyzer supports spectrum acquisition, with a supplier-specified maximum count rate of approximately 100,000 counts per second and power consumption below 1 W.

The detector and electronics are housed in precision-machined, anodized aluminium, with an LED recording indicator. The unit measures 55 × 235 mm and weighs 583 g. An integral temperature sensor compensates for temperature drift. The specified operating range is −20 to +60 °C; the supplier separately describes temperature compensation over −40 to +80 °C.

Compatible software includes Becqmoni Atom for Windows, ImpulseQt for Windows and Mac, and Atom-Spectra for compatible Android phones and tablets. Background subtraction and isotope libraries support spectrum interpretation.
