ATOM-FAST Personal Dosimeter

ATOM-FAST is a portable radiation detector and personal dosimeter from Atom-Spectra, supplied through Gammaspectacular. The listed model uses an 8 × 8 × 50 mm CsI scintillation crystal coupled to a silicon photomultiplier for gamma, X-ray and beta radiation detection.

Bluetooth 4.0 connects the device to a smartphone or tablet for viewing readings and configuring three dose-rate and accumulated-dose alarm thresholds. Accumulated dose is retained during standalone operation and retrieved when the wireless connection is restored. A rechargeable lithium-ion battery powers the detector.
